The Mystery of the Wee Pirate's Curse

EdFringe 2022

It is 1952 and the spiffing Summer Hols are here at last, what larks indeed! Young Lady Iris Bungle finds herself in bonnie Scotland assisting her theatrical, spunky cousin Lord Dicky Hardwick as he prepares for his debut as Hamlet in Hamlet the Musical. However, all is not as it seems… When Iris stumbles upon a rather swashbuckling adventure! Lost treasure, vengeful ghosts and a jolly mystery to boot! With lashings and lashings of ginger beer, join Iris as she endeavours to solve The Mystery of the Wee Pirate’s Curse!

The Chanticleer Players are absolutely thrilled to be returning to Edinburgh for the world largest arts festival again this year!

We will be performing in the jolly spiffing Perth Theatre at theSpace on North Bridge on 5th - 20th August 2022 (Excluding 14th). We would love to see you there, but if you cannot make it all the way to sunny Edinburgh we will be performing, for one night only, a PREVIEW of our upcoming brand new show 'The Mystery of the Wee Pirate's Curse' at The Aldridge Theatre on Frensham on 30th July 2022!

Get your tickets for the preview and the full run of our Edinburgh run below!

If you are not able to attend any of our performances but would still like to support us in our valiant effort to get to Edinburgh please considering donating the amount you would have spent on a ticket through our GoFundMe Campaign linked below.

Unfortunately, the COVID pandemic has really hit the Arts and Theatre Industry hard, especially the glorious Edinburgh Fringe Festival. This has meant the cost of living and putting on a show there have sky rocketed, and so any support you can offer us, or any pennies you can spare would be so greatly appreciated by all of the Chanticleer Players!
