The Chanticleer Players began as a little troupe of actors who made films and theatre from the heart since 2015. Since then we have continued to grow as a theatre company, producing annual pantomimes, which are beloved and well attended by the local community.

Our in house writer pens each script, each tailored to our current company. Our aim is to produce theatre that takes our audiences on a journey. We want audiences to let their hair down, to leave all worries at the doorstep and have a good old giggle! We keep our ticket costs low to make our work as financially accessible as possible, in a bid to keep theatre available to all, for we believe theatre is a magic box where all dreams are possible.

 

The Chanticleer Players are driven and determined to bring their unique theatre style to audiences across the country. We combine thoroughly British old-school comedy, with modern day issues to produce shows which hold a mirror to our modern society, and tell stories which may otherwise not be heard.
